Service Selection Board Exam (SSB) for those candidates who are interested in Army, Navy, and Airforce. The service selection board evaluates the suitability of the candidate for becoming an officer using a standardized protocol of evaluation system which constitutes personality, intelligence tests, and interviews.
ELIGIBILITY For Service Selection Board Exam
Age Eligibility for 18 to 23 years.
Educational Qualification for Service Selection Board Exam
- 10 or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institute.
- Naval Academy-The candidate who have a Bachelor degree in Engineering
- Airforce Academy- BSc. with physics and Mathematics, B.E. and B.Tech.
Medical Standard: The candidates should be free from wax (EARS), DNS, Hydrocele/Phimosis. Defective Color Vision, LASIK Surgery, Over/Under Weight, Under Chest, Piles, Gynecomastia, Tonsillitis, Veri-Cocele, And Aids.
-The candidate should be able to read 6/6 in a vision chart.
-The color vision standard should be CP – III.
-The candidates should have a minimum of fourteen dental points with sound teeth.
-Candidates who have participated in recognized international events.
-Candidates who have participated in the last Olympic Games, World Cup, and Asian Games.
-Candidates who are medalists in recognized national level sports tournaments.
